Digital Analyst

Location: Indianapolis

 

Fusion Alliance is seeking an experienced digital analytics professional with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement measurement plans for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will be an outcome-focused, analytical thinker who can drive the measurement process from KPI definition to technical implementation to analysis and insights gathering.

This role will help clients define and build out digital measurement strategies using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics and guide them in developing best practices around data collection and decision-making for their business. The candidate should have experience assisting stakeholders in identifying KPI, determining a measurement approach, and developing technical solutions to capture and analyze useful customer data. It is critical that the candidate be able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to non-technical roles while also being able to communicate technical needs to developers effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and implementing digital analytics implementations for web and mobile
  • Developing measurement strategies with KPI based on client’s business goals
  • Writing technical instructions for developers
  • Maintaining documentation of implementation details
  • Helping clients determine best practices for their specific business
  • Conducting audits on the overall health of client’s analytics stack
  • Assisting other Fusion team members to solve measurement issues as needed

 

Requirements

  • Significant experience implementing, configuring, and customizing leading digital analytics tools using a tag manager tool (e.g., Google, Adobe, Tealium, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in a consulting or SME measurement role
  • Strong understanding of data dimensioning/metrics and proper use of tracking variables
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complete projects with little direction if required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understands and has some level of comfort working with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Able to learn new systems and techniques quickly and effectively
  • Able to develop detailed technical documentation for digital analytics implementations
  • Able to guide the client through measurement strategy process (e.g., identifying KPIs from business goals, developing reporting requirements, and configuring the data collected in a way that is useful to the organization)

 

Preferred

  • College degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience designing, managing, and analyzing the results of A/B and multivariate tests
  • Experience using Google BigQuery is a plus
  • Ability to develop dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio and Tableau
  • Experience working in an enterprise technology or marketing environment
